this cozy retreat in Carnforth surpassed our expectations once again. It's beautifully decorated, providing a tasteful and relaxing atmosphere. The host, Margaret, goes above and beyond, leaving delightful treats for her guests. The location is perfect, and we had everything we needed, including extra blankets and a heater. Truly a wonderful stay in a peaceful setting.

The apartment was stunning and in a great location for walks and other activities. the property was very modern and clean, making for an extremely comfortable stay. It had all the facilities we needed, from pots and pans to a smart TV with Netflix. the host was amazing, going above and beyond to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay. the location was beautiful and our little daughter enjoyed feeding the ducks every morning.

The beds in the second bedroom were a little small for an adult. the blinds were not completely blackout, which affected my sleep a little.

We recently stayed at Inside No 1 Retreat and it was absolutely lovely. The property was modern, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The double aspect patio doors made the space light and airy, and the outside seating areas were perfect for enjoying the sun. The location was quiet and peaceful, allowing us to relax and unwind. Margaret, the host, was extremely helpful and ensured our stay was smooth and enjoyable. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this retreat for a relaxing getaway.

Although our stay was fantastic, there were a few minor drawbacks. The travel cot provided was too small for our baby who was over 1 year old, and the on-site play park didn't have a baby swing.

The location of the lodge was excellent, with easy access to both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. This made it convenient for exploring different areas during our stay.

That there were no gates to keep our dog in. This made it a bit challenging to let our furry friend roam freely without worrying about him wandering off.

We loved the dog treats and raspberry Swiss rolls! The area was perfect for both families and couples, with lots of places to walk and explore. The on-site restaurant had delicious food and was even dog-friendly. The whole holiday park was neat and tidy, and the staff were polite and friendly. We can't wait to come back!

There was really nothing to dislike about our stay, it was a lovely place! If I had to mention one thing, it would be great to have expandable gates on the deck to keep the dog in.

The lack of easily accessible nearby cafes or restaurants, especially with young children. It required walking along or crossing busy roads, which was not ideal.
